Cockroaches are the most frequent pests of households and commercial businesses. They are nuisance pests. They cause allergic reactions in many people and carry pathogens of many diseases e.g., Salmonella (Food poisoning), Escherchia coli (Diarrhoea), Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Coliform, Clostridium, Shigella dysenteriae (dysentery) etc.
Cockroaches are nocturnal insect pests and their presence during the day time is an indication of a large population.
The most common species found in North America are the German cockroach and the American cockroach.
Cockroaches are distributed unevenly and usually found concentrated in a particular area. Cockroaches can be found throughout the structure but they prefer warm and humid places and are mostly found in kitchens and bathrooms or in areas which are used for eating food.
Cockroaches can feed on almost anything that has some nutritive value. They can live with only water longer than with only food.
Treatment
Cockroach treatment involves a thorough inspection followed by treatment and monitoring the infestation level after treatment. We try to blend different control techniques in order to have effective, safe and permanent cockroach control. In case of a severe infestation, treatment may involve more than one application.
